Jabe was born in Guadeloupe and left for Paris to follow art studies. He started exhibiting paintings around Europe before settling to study make-up for 2 years at Shu Uemura Cosmetics, which kickstarted his freelance makeup artist career. His work was seen in major magazines and he contributed to the development of various advertising campaigns, catalogues and several fashion shows. In 2013, Jabe began a new career as Creative Director for several magazines, cosmetics brands and created an international avant-garde beauty magazine (OOB Magazine). Since then, Jabe keeps developing his painting, photography and directing skills for high end make-up and fashion brands thanks to his extended experience in the luxury industry.
